2024 Pasadena Showcase House with Peltier Interiors

Year after year, our friends in the design community host countless showhouse experiences throughout the country. While new showhouses pop up each season, the Pasadena Showcase House has 60 years of vibrant history. Hudson Valley Lighting Group was pleased to collaborate with Amy Peltier from Peltier Interiors on the primary bedroom suite. 

The expansive suite featured a beautifully layered sitting area, brimming with demure details. Traditional yet fresh, the space paired rich textiles with classic lighting silhouettes for a picturesque bedroom setting.

Designer Amy Peltier captured Pasadena’s signature style with proper touches like patterned wallpaper, chinoiserie and shaded wall sconces by Hudson Valley Lighting.

Brass accents throughout added warmth to the room’s cool color palette. The brass interior of the chandelier amplifies light when illuminated, creating a warm, atmospheric glow.

An eclectic mix of tones and textures kept things interesting. The rich ebony bed frame and natural oak nightstands provided welcome contrast in the calming space. A pair of swing arm sconces framed the bedroom vignette, lending form and function to the area.

Sometimes negative space can offer dramatic pause. A poetic interpretation of a bubble, the Oshawa Table Lamp is light as air with a minimal, yet impactful presence.
