Inside the 2025 REAL SIMPLE Penthouse

This brand-new Manhattan high-rise luxe penthouse, situated on the 23rd floor, presents amazing downtown views. This transformation of turning the bare space into something that felt cohesive was a unique project for all the designers involved. Each brought their own style and taste and turned every room into a home that anyone would want to live in.

Kitchen & Dining
Just off the living area, Designer Jason Saft transformed this penthouse kitchen and dining space blending function and flair. Corbett’s Emerald Chandelier sets the tone, highlighting every luxe detail in the room.

Outdoor Terrace
With 1,500 square feet of outdoor space, Designer Noz Nozawa turned this penthouse terrace into a multi-zone oasis. Dining, lounging, and cozy retreat areas are illuminated with Hudson Valley Lighting’s Gareth rechargeable lamps, creating a resort-like atmosphere any time of day.

Cozy Den & Game Nook
Toronto-based home design pro Alexandra Gater created a warm, inviting den with a faux mantel, antique-rug-inspired wallpaper, and velvet furniture. Mitzi’s Alexa Sconce and Onda Chandelier add soft, playful light, making the game nook perfect for gatherings or quiet evenings.

Study & Guest Room
Designer Mandy Cheng transformed this upstairs room with a striking checkerboard wall of mirrors and toile wallpaper. Lighting from her Mitzi collection adds depth and drama, making the space as functional as it is visually captivating.

Bedroom/Hallway
New York City – based designer Alvin Wayne wanted to bring an earthy feel to the bedroom space. Hudson Valley Lighting’s Fairfield Sconce creating a balance of approachability and functionality.

Office
Hudson Valley Lighting’s Brasher Pendant adds a formal look to this modern office space. Glass is hand-poured into molds, then bent to form the distinctive panels that are the first thing you notice when you look at Brasher.
