2026 Real Simple Home
For Real Simple’s ninth annual showhouse, a three-story Brooklyn townhouse in the vibrant Fort Greene neighborhood was transformed by ten designers into a considered and welcoming space. Each designer brought their own unique style to their space to make this home truly one-of-a-kind. Get a closer look at how Hudson Valley Lighting Group illuminated these stunning spaces below!
Living Room
Designer Matthew Tsang had the challenge of transforming the first room you see in this home. With statement art and natural textures, the living room feels curated yet inviting. Hudson Valley Lighting’s Brice table lamp brings added contrast with its delicate paper shade and structural white oak base.

Analog Room
Designed with intention, Marie Cloud created a space that inspires you to slow down and unplug. Luxe velvet curtains to block out distractions and a reading chair beside Hudson Valley Lighting’s Leetown table lamp creates a cozy corner to unwind. For an added layer of illumination and luxury, Corbett Lighting’s Aimi semi-flush mount brings a soft overhead glow to the space.

Front Stoop
Architect Brandon Dean worked on transforming the exterior of the home to make sure it was just as beautiful as the interiors. The contemporary and sleek design of Troy Lighting’s Elani exterior wall sconce perfectly lights the front stoop, decorated by Kristi Hemric with a gorgeous floral installation!

Back Garden
The lush garden, created in collaboration with architect Brandon Dean and landscaper Kate Engelbrecht, became the star of the opening night of the showhouse. Complete with a DJ and photo moments, this little patio quickly filled with people excited to celebrate this exceptional showcase of design. When the sun went down, Troy Lighting’s Blaze exterior wall sconce and Sonneman’s Hemisphere wall sconces provided enough light to keep the party going!
